All though most people don’t agree this is one of the most important agument out there. The point is kid should be able to drive at age 14. Yes we do need this so in the end it will help everybody. My claims will help you make the decision to let kids drive at 14. They include, freedom, less need for parents and school buses.
The first thing I have is less need for parents to drive their kids everywhere. Example, you know when your parents say I need some groceries from the store. You probably thought that you could go but no you cant because you have to wait till your 16. The point is there would be less need or parents to be out trying to get this stuff when their kid could be! It would be easier on the parents in the end because kids usually are more active then adults. Kids would love to be out in the car running errands for parents.
In addition too less need for parents, kids have more freedom. You know when your friend says, “ hey you want to go to this sweet party”. You have to tell him no because you don’t have a ride there because you cant drive. This also means that parents are not going to be as tired in the morning because they wont have to wake up late and go find their kids. Also kids could probabally learn about more people and things because they could go out and explore more.
The final thing is that schools do not need to buy a lot of buses or pay for drivers. School’s spend a copious amount of money on school buses and stuff like that if they did not need to we could get new stuff in the school like computer, more foreign languages etc. Also being a bus driver is a hard job. There are always those loud kids who could distract the bus driver and cause death. This is why if ids can drive it is their responsibility to be safe on the road. If the kid crashes it is just 1 or 2 not 20 or a whole bus. Also kids wont be as tired in the morning because they don’t have to wake up to get on the bus when they could just drive themselves.
In conclusion you can see that there is a lot of different things that make up THE REASON to let kids drive at the age of 14. You can see that there is a less need for parents. Kids have more freedom to do what they want. Finally schools don’t need to purchase buses.
